New titles for autumn 2013

We are delighted to announce the publication of two new titles: Like the Living End by Peter Robinson and Fossil Sunshine by Michael McKimm.

Peter Robinson’s Like the Living End is his first collection of poems since The Returning Sky (2012), a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. Robinson is alive as ever in these poems touched by the passing of the years, by illness and mortality, themes that he addresses with characteristic delicacy, candour, and improvised formal poise.

Michael McKimm’s Fossil Sunshine is the result of his year-long collaboration with earth scientists, exploring geology, the oil industry and climate change.

“In these poems, the language of geology is both poetic and political: basalt and limestone, quartz and jasper become urgent works of art.” – Erica Wagner
