Cheltenham Poetry Festival – April 2014

Worple Poets are descending on Cheltenham this April to take part in the Cheltenham Poetry Festival!  We’ll be there on the weekend of 5 – 6th April, with two events: on Saturday 5th April at 10.30 am come along and hear a showcase of new and established poets, including Stephen Boyce, Sally Flint, John Freeman, John Greening and Michael McKimm, at The Copa of Cheltenham, in Regent Street; then on Sunday 6th April at 12.30pm we celebrate William Hayward’s cult novel It Never Gets Dark All Night with a special reading by his son Paul Hayward, at Tailors, in Cambray Place. Also reading at the festival is Worple’s co-director Peter Carpenter, who will read alongside Lesley Ingram on Saturday 5th April at 5pm, also at Tailors.
