Anthony Wilson, author of Riddance, Full Stretch and Nowhere Better Than This, is the guest blogger at the 2014 Aldeburgh Poetry Festival. Throughout the weekend Anthony will be keeping you up to date with everything that’s happening at the festival, from the wide variety of events and workshops, to what’s going on behind the scenes. The blog will feature his own posts, contributions from some of the poets on the programme, photographs and responses from the wider poetry community.
Anthony is also involved in a number of events. On Friday 7, from 2 – 4pm, he is running a workshop called How Are You? Poetry and the body; later that day, at 7pm, he’ll be introducing 4 new exciting poets – Finuala Dowling, Jonathan Edwards, Bronwyn Lea and Chrissy Williams – at Jerwood Kiln. And on Saturday 8 at 1.15pm, don’t miss the chance to hear Anthony in conversation with Beverly Rycroft; both cancer survivors, Anthony and Beverly will discuss Poetry and Illness, and read from their work.
